He said the Lagos Internal Revenue Service is expected to generate N300billion equivalent to 78 percent of the total IGR, however adding that while the state government does not intend to introduce new taxes, efforts will be made towards bringing more citizens into the tax net especially the informal sector as well as through the adoption of an automated process to block leakages. According to Ashade, the year's budget was carefully prepared taking into consideration recent developments in the Global and National Economy Spheres, adding that although the State Government adopted the National Crude Oil projection of $38 per barrel, the budget will be largely driven by IGR made up of taxes, rates and levies. 44-year-old Mohammed Raees Makani who has been a car mechanic for some years from India has no formal but this has not stopped him from accomplishing a scientific feat of epic proportions. He claims to have invented a car that runs on water. He has been modifying an 800 cc engine for the last five years - and now believes he has made the scientific breakthrough. The car uses a mix of water and     carbide which at just under two pence a litre is far more cost effective than traditional fossil fuels. Markani, from the state of Madhya Pradesh, said: "The car runs on acetylene gas, which is formed from a chemical reaction between calcium carbide and water. The gas is used for several industrial purposes including welding and portable lighting for miners. But in my case, I am using it to propel the car engines. The alleged forgery of the Senate Standing Orders that was used during the election of the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, will be looked into this week. This was the submission of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), who spoke to The Punch on the issue. Already, the police has investigated the alleged forgery and sent a 13-page report of their findings to the Federal Ministry of Justice for legal advice since July 2015. The ministry was said to have raised some concerns about some “grey” areas in the police report and sought clarifications from the police authorities. According to Malami,  his office was studying the file on the case in order to take appropriate steps and would take decision on it. Rivers state governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike will swear-in Honourable Justice Daisy Wotube Okocha as the Substantive Chief Judge of the state today January 4, 2016. A statement issued by the special assistant to the state governor, Simeon Nwakaudu, on electronic media said that the swearing-in of the substantive Chief Judge of Rivers state will hold by 10am at the Executive Council Chamber of Government House, Port Harcourt. Justice Diasy Okocha has been the Acting Chief of Rivers state since May 29, 2015 when he was appointed by Governor Nyesom Wike. On November 30, the Rivers state government said the National Judicial Council (NJ), had recommended the extension of the appointment of the Acting Chief Judge of Rivers state, Justice Daisy Okocha from December 1, 2015 to January 15, 2016. The state governor, accordingly approved the extension of the appointment of Justice Daisy Okocha. However following the Court of Appeal judgement that dismissed the suit challenging the app
