Autopsy Reveals Alizee, singer killed by Danish husband died of trauma

Alizee Zainab who was murdered with her three-year-old daughter, Petra, by the Danish husband, Peter Nielsen, on April 5 in their residence at Bellasta Towers, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos, died of trauma from the injuries inflicted on her head. The husband of the late singer was arrested and subsequently arraigned on two counts of murder last Thursday at the Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court. Reacting to the development on Monday, April 16, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Imohimi said the autopsy report showed that Alizee suffered trauma. The CP also said that, “secondly, the forensic experts revealed there were bloodstains from the couple’s bedroom to the kitchen. Even though the bloodstains were cleverly wiped from the floor, they were still able to detect the stains with the application of special chemical reagents. In addition, bloodstains were also discovered on the wash hand basins and on the hand towel. Although it was cleverly cleaned up as well”.

Police arrest a primary school dropout who practiced as a medical doctor

The Lagos state police command had yesterday paraded a primary school dropout, Abdulrahman Mohammed, who has practiced as a medical doctor for four years in the state. Parading the suspect before pressmen, the state police commissioner, CP Edgal Imohimi, said Mohammed operated a clinic at Idi-Araba area in Mushin, where he administered injections in veins to patients, also collected  blood and urine samples for diagnosis. “Detectives from the Area D Command, Mushin, arrested one Abdulrahman Mohammed, a native of Ran Village in Gamboru Ngala local government area of Borno State for operating as a medical doctor at 3, Bamishile Street, Idi -Araba, whereas his education stopped at primary school level.
