Lagos lawyer stabbed husband to death

The 47-year-old year-old Lawyer, Udeme Odibi reportedly stabbed her husband, Otike Odibi to death in Ajah. Reports revealed that the lawyer was supposed to travel to abroad before the murder. She had arranged her luggage, preparatory to the journey on Wednesday, but decided to postpone it. The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday at the couple’s residence on Diamond Estate, Sangotedo, in Ajah area of Lagos State. Also, a source stated on Friday that the suspect had been abroad since December 2017 before returning to Nigeria in April 2018. Udeme stabbed her husband, Otike, with a knife, ripping out his intestines. Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command, which confirmed the incident, said the victim had called a neighbour, his younger sister and mother on the telephone on Wednesday night, informing them of his wife’s threat to kill him. Tuface Idibia, Wzkid, others win big in 2018 headies

Well known musicians: Innocent Idibia (2face), Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid), David Adeleke (Davido) and some other artistes won the 12th edition of headies awards earlier today. The 2018 HEADIES awards took place at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Headies award formerly known as the Hip Hop World Awards was established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. The occassion usually features performances by established and promising artists. Wizkid got the best music video award, the best R and B pop album award and the viewers’ choice award for his song ” Come closer”. 2face had the best reggae dancehall single award for his song ” Holyholy”.
