Paris Saint-Germain to sign Real Madrid Keeper

Paris Saint Germain are closing in on a deal to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper, Keylor Navas. Navas joined Madrid from Levante in 2014 after doing well at the World Cup in Brazil. The 32-year-old has made over 100 appearances for Real Madrid, winning three Champions Leagues and one La Liga crown. Sokoto governor declares Monday as public holiday

Governor of Sokoto state Aminu Tambuwal has declared Monday, September 2, 2019 as public holiday to mark the beginning of Islamic New Year 1441. A statement issued by Malam Abubakar Shekara, a permanent secretary with the state government on Sunday, September 1, said “the holiday is to allow Muslim faithfuls to celebrate the commencement of the new year.” The governor urged the people of the state to use the opportunity to pray for peace and security of the state, also, Nigeria as a whole. Reports said that Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, had declared Sunday, September 1 2019 as first day of Muharamm, the first Islamic lunar month 1441. MAPOLY radio commence operation

MAPOLY rector, Dr Samson Odedina  Few years after getting a provisional license from the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), MAPOLY Radio 99.7FM starts operations this September. The rector of Moshood Abiola polytechnic, Dr. Samson Odedina made this assertion while receiving the state coordinator of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), Abosede Williams in Ogun State. In his words, “our focus to begin full operations with MAPOLY CAMPUS RADIO on 99.7 FM by September remains sacrosanct.” The much-awaited MAPOLY radio has according to the rector been given a license to operate with the 99.7 frequency modulation. A document shown to our correspondent shows that the radio has been given licence to operate since May 11 2015, which he blamed the belated take off on crisis management issues that the institution experienced lately. Samson said decisions has been made to start operations properly as the licence expires in 2020. As part of efforts in speeding up the t
