Bisola Aiyeola  Former BBNaija See Gobe edition, 2017, Bisola Aiyeola has hit one million followers on her Instagram account recently. The Nigerian-British talented actress, singer, MC and presenter, is the first ex housemate to hit one million followers on Instagram. She, has already been getting congratulatory messages from her fans who are also excited including the famous big bother host, Ebuka who is yet to hit close to 600,000 followers. Her songs: Bisola Luchia, and “Boda Luku,” currently, receives positive reviews. Bisola’s fame began when she contested in the 2008 edition of MTN Project Fame, before the big brother Naija 2 show. She is a great mimic and has done a lot of comedy skits and is popular on Instagram. Bisola is also a voice over artist and a one time TV host of Billboard Nigeria.

Senator Peter Nwaoboshi after spending two days in prison, on Friday was freed with the Federal High Court, Lagos, granting him bail on self-recognizance. On Wednesday Nwaoboshi was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an alleged N805 million fraud. The lawmaker was arraigned alongside two companies — Golden Touch Construction Project Ltd and Summing Electrical Ltd — on a two-count charge of fraud and money laundering before Justice Mohammed Idris. Although Nwaoboshi had pleaded not guilty to the charges, Justice, however, ordered his remand in Ikoyi Prisons and adjourned ruling on his bail application until Friday after the submissions of both the prosecutor, Mr M. S. Abubakar and the defence counsel, Dr V. J. O Azinge. In less than 24 hours that reports said that the spokeman to Governor of Taraba State, lmam Imam died, the speaker of the Oyo state House of Assembly, Micheal Adeyemo also passed out. According to reports, Adeyemo died of heart attack and his corpse is currently being taken to the morgue. 

North Korean President, Kim Jong Un has walked across the military demarcation line dividing the two Koreas to be greeted by South Korean President, Moon Jae-in for the first inter-Korean summit in the past decade.  President Moon has also been to North Korea severally before returning to the South, hand-in-hand, with Jong Un in a meeting which is targeted at ending many years of conflict. The meeting which took place on Friday, April 26, means Jong Un became the first North Korean leader to be in South Korean since the Korean peninsula was divided into two countries after the 1950-53 Korean war. Dr Zainab Bagudu  Award winning Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has been getting reactions after she questioned former Democrat Presidential candidate, Hilary Clinton, on the why her Twitter bio started with ‘wife’. The wife of Kebbi State governor, Dr Zainab Bagudu replied to the controversy and Ms Adichie, whose views she described as "tribal, stereotyped and one-sided". Bill Cosby  Famous American comedian and actor, Bill Cosby, has been proven guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault. The sexual assault charges against him includes penetration without consent, penetration while unconscious, and penetration after administrating an intoxicant with each count punishable by up to 10 years in prison. About 60 women accused Cosby of molestation over the course of several decades. His first trial ended in a mistrial in June 2017 after a jury deliberated for six days. Recall in 2004 that  Bill Cosby was alleged to have raped basketball coach, Andrea Constand and 50 other women also brought up several allegations against him. The Federal Government has approved N64.108 billion for additional work on 43 kilometres’ part of section one of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. This was made known by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola, during a chat with reporters after about some hours’ Federal Executive Council meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari as the chairman in Abuja. Fashola, also said it was part of the N68.6 billion approved for roads projects. The new approval, Fashola said, is to accommodate the changing factors occurring on the project and to solidify the road to withstand heavy vehicles.
