President Buhari to attend an inauguration in Burkina Faso






The President of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari says he will attend the inauguration of the new President of Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kabore on December 29, 2015.

The President discussed this in Abuja on Wednesday during a joint press briefing with the interim President of Burkina Faso, Michel Kanfado.

President Buhari congratulated the people and government of Burkina Faso for commitment to establish constitutional order and democracy; that is why he is accepting the invitation to the inauguration to the country.

Meanwhile, Kanfado had earlier expressed his country's appreciation to Nigeria for restoring democracy in his country.

FG acquires calibration safety aircraft worth millions of dollars

The Honourable Minister, Sen. Hadi Sirika; receiving the Beechcraft 350 aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday. Federal Government of Nigeria on Thursday has delivered a Beechcraft 350 aircraft worth 8.5million Dollars for calibration of navigation equipment in the country’s airports. According to the press release by Federal Ministy of Information and Culture Honourable Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika who was present to receive the aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, said that the aim of acquiring the aircraft is to calibrate the Nigerian airport equipment and to aid the country’s flight operations.
