Linda Ikeji is the most influential person of the year under 40 2015


The African Sun Times announced Linda Ikeji the most influential person of the year 2015.

The African Sun Times is Africa’s number one and largest newspaper in America and has been in circulation for 37 years. On December 31st 2015 its announced Linda Ikeji as the most influential person of the year under 40 2015. Its also named former president of Nigeria Good-luck Ebele Jonathan the 'International Person of the Year'.

Linda said "I am very honoured" and thanked the guys at African Sun Times. "I don't take these things for granted," she added.

 Linda Ikeji has become a model to thousands of people inspiring entrepreneur in Nigeria, she gives information of happenings within and outside the country through her blog.

FG acquires calibration safety aircraft worth millions of dollars

The Honourable Minister, Sen. Hadi Sirika; receiving the Beechcraft 350 aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday. Federal Government of Nigeria on Thursday has delivered a Beechcraft 350 aircraft worth 8.5million Dollars for calibration of navigation equipment in the country’s airports. According to the press release by Federal Ministy of Information and Culture Honourable Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika who was present to receive the aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, said that the aim of acquiring the aircraft is to calibrate the Nigerian airport equipment and to aid the country’s flight operations. Speaking further, Sen. Sirika asserted that Nigeria aviation have not had airport calibration equipment for years.
