Olubadan of Ibadan dies at age 101


The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1, has died.

The exteem Yoruba monarch died yesterday evening after a brief illness. Reports said he suddenly lost consciousness. He was 101 years old. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

Oba Odulana ascended the throne in 2007 as the 39th Olubadan of Ibadan land. He was the 17th Olubadan since the title was elevated from Baale Ibadan to the Olubadan in 1930.

Regina regrets encouraging Nigerians to support Buhari in her open letter to the president

Former Nollywood actress now a nurse, Regina Askia Williams, has written an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari.
