President Buhari arrives Lagos

President Buhari has arrived Lagos state for his two-days visit. He was received by Governor of the sate, Akinwunmi Ambode, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed and Special Adviser in Disaporal, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

FG acquires calibration safety aircraft worth millions of dollars

The Honourable Minister, Sen. Hadi Sirika; receiving the Beechcraft 350 aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday. Federal Government of Nigeria on Thursday has delivered a Beechcraft 350 aircraft worth 8.5million Dollars for calibration of navigation equipment in the country’s airports. According to the press release by Federal Ministy of Information and Culture Honourable Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika who was present to receive the aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, said that the aim of acquiring the aircraft is to calibrate the Nigerian airport equipment and to aid the country’s flight operations. Speaking further, Sen. Sirika asserted that Nigeria aviation have not had airport calibration equipment for years.
