Uses of orange to the skin



This common and affordable fruit belongs to the citrus class and its best known for its astringent and toning properties. Orange is a good source of Vitamin C which improves the colour of the skin and texture. It helps restores collagen in the body which is responsible for firming skin. So, daily serving of citrus fruits help fight early aging of the body.

Orange Peels
Orange peel is very useful, after eating orange, instead of throwing away the peels; dry and grind, then store mixture. And use as a body scrub.
•Mix the scrub with milk, then apply on the face. It gives an instant glow to your face. And it reduces the dark spots and blemishes on the skin.
•Apart from grinding the orange peel it can also be used to make a refreshing face spray.
•If you do not use as a face spray, simply pour boiling water on the peels and leave for a day. Filter the liquid and refrigerate. Apply the liquid on your face using a cotton wool.  Leave till  it dries up, then wash off, your face will be firm and glowing. Use the liquid within a day or two.
The processed orange peel liquid is also added in bath water for a refreshing and rejuvenating bath.
•Use the liquid as a hair rinse to get a shining hair and it helps in removing dandruff.


Orange Juice
Drinking orange juice mixed with other blended fruits and vegetables like carrot, cucumber and tomatoes give a glowing and whitening skin from the inner to the outer part of the skin.  



A frozen orange juice instantly freshens and lifts up the tiredness from your face when applied on the face. The juice gives dull and oily face an instant sheen.

Also, when the frozen fruit is cut into two, the chilled ice cubes on it minimises the pores on the face when applied on the face. This provides relief to acne prone skin and pimples.
