Teenager throws a child from 100ft art gallery building

A 17-year-old boy threw a boy from a viewing platform at the Tate Modern, London.

The six-year-old, fell 100ft after being snatched from his mother's arms by the suspect who is thought to have been in the gallery for up to two hours and thrown from the tenth floor viewing platform at the art gallery.

He landed on the fifth floor and was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.

The 17-year-old - who cannot be named for legal reasons - and presently charged for attempted murder is said to suffer from a mental disorder, and only allowed out of a secured home when accompanied by two carers.

According to reports, 'the teenager who is usually stalking other kids is one of the most difficult and challenging mental patients ever encountered as he suffers from schizophrenia and has a tendency towards violence. He's also scarily intelligent when watched on an edition of the TV quiz show 'The Chase' with him once as he answered every single question correctly.
