Former BBNaija housemate campaigns against Gender-Based Violence, endorses GenderMobile

Nigerian artiste, Actor and Former BBNaija housemate, Rico Swavey has taken out time to address the issue of gender-based violence and related acts.

Recently, the actor endorsed an anti-gender-based violence group, GenderMobile as the genuine platform to report any case of violence within the society.

Rico Swavey urged victims to seize the opportunity presented by the group by reaching out to GenderMobile through its official website (http://www.gendermobile.org) or simply dialing its official hotline on  0700 0000 002.

Rico Swavey urged his fans to stop any form of violence, adding that achieving a violence-free society is a collective effort that involves everyone.

The artiste who recently released a track featuring Samklef and titled ‘Emotional,’ enjoined his fans to participate in ensuring a violence-free society by reporting any case of violence around them.

He, however, appreciated his fans for their outstanding and exceptional support even from when he was in the BBNaija, season 3 house.

FG acquires calibration safety aircraft worth millions of dollars

The Honourable Minister, Sen. Hadi Sirika; receiving the Beechcraft 350 aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Thursday. Federal Government of Nigeria on Thursday has delivered a Beechcraft 350 aircraft worth 8.5million Dollars for calibration of navigation equipment in the country’s airports. According to the press release by Federal Ministy of Information and Culture Honourable Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika who was present to receive the aircraft at the General Aviation Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, said that the aim of acquiring the aircraft is to calibrate the Nigerian airport equipment and to aid the country’s flight operations.
