Court grants bail to Senator Dino Melaye

Senator Dino Melaye  A Magistrate court has granted bail to Senator Dino Melaye in the sum of 90 million naira. The lawmaker representing Kogi west senatorial district who today appeared in the magistrate court sitting in a stretcher was arraigned before the court in Abuja, by the Nigerian Police Force. Apart from the 90 million naira bail, Senator Melaye was asked to provide two sureties.

Fayose commends Ekiti workers, says they are better owed than sacked

Ekiti State governor,  Ayo Fayose  has commended his state workers for making him “a man of history” during the state’s Workers Day celebrations. Writing on his Twitter, Fayose said he has promoted 37,152 workers and they will be paid their full entitlements. He says while the state does owe salaries, he hopes the arrears owed will soon be paid in full.  Read what he wrote on Twitter... Facebook to launch dating Service

Mark Zuckerberg The popular social media,  Facebook  has announced its plan to launch a dating service to help connect users with people who are not their friends to help them meet new people. The founder,  Mark Zuckerberg  stated this at Facebook’s F8 Conference in San Jose, California. “If we are focused on helping people build meaningful relationships then perhaps this is the most meaningful of all… so we are launching a whole set of new features around dating,” Zuckerberg said. The feature will be for “building real, long-term relationships, not just hookups,” Zuckerberg said, adding that since “there are 200 million people on Facebook that list themselves as single… clearly, there’s something to do here.” Zuckerberg added that friends will not be able to see one another’s dating profiles, as part of its privacy policy for the new feature.
