Ex-MBGN Sandra with husband jailed for fraud

The former most beautiful girl of Nigeria, Sandra Petgrave and husband, Chiedu Chukwuka arrested, tried, and are sentenced for fraud. The couple are to pay millions of dollars in fines, if not Sandra is expected to spend 18 months in prison, while her husband’s sentence will be in prison for nine years. This is not the first time the couple has been disobeying the law. On August 2 2009, the ex queen was charged with battery against her husband and spent two days in jail before being released on bail. Chiedu “George” Chukwuka has been sentenced in connection with his lead role in a mortgage fraud ring that spanned five years and caused millions in losses. Governor Wike calls back suspended council chairmen

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has called back  the suspended Caretaker Committee   Chairmen of  Abua/Odual, Ahoada East and Ahoada West Local Government Areas. The  Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Chief Kenneth Kobani stated that the affected chairmen are to resume work with  immediately.
