Governor Wike calls back suspended council chairmen


Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has called back  the suspended Caretaker Committee   Chairmen of  Abua/Odual, Ahoada East and Ahoada West Local Government Areas.
The  Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Chief Kenneth Kobani stated that the affected chairmen are to resume work with  immediately.

Dignatries refuse to disclose donations at Aisha Buhari's book launch

Wife of Nigeria president, Aisha Buhari’s launched a book titled “The Essentials of Beauty Therapy: A Complete Guide for Beauty Therapy” yesterday, April 14, at the presidential villa banquet hall, Abuja. According to reports, prominent personnel present at the public book presentation intentionally refused to disclosed their donations. It was not clear whether their decision was based on the present administration’s anti-graft crusade. Organizers of the presentation revealed that the donations would be sent to parents of the over 200 schoolgirls abducted from Chibok and the parents of the boys abducted in Buni Yadi. Meanwhile, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo noted at the event to Mrs. Buhari that the president is very strict on monetary issues and should not expect any large donation from him.
