Senator Ovie Omo-Agege gets 90 days suspension

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege  Senator Ovie Omo-Agege representing Delta Central Senatorial district has been suspended for 90 legislative days by the Nigerian Senate today during the Senate procedure. The suspension of the Delta Central lawmaker was recommended by the Senate Committee on Public Petitions, Ethics and Privileges which investigated him over comment on the reordering of electoral timetable. The report which was submitted by the Committee Chairman, Senator Samuel Anyanwu explained that the strayed Delta Central lawmaker refused to speak to the committee when he appeared. The report says Senator Omo-Agege told the Committee that he has taken the matter to court already. Though Senate leader, Ahmed Lawan pleaded that he should not be suspended, however, Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki could not turn against the appeal from Senator Lawan and Senator Kabir Marafa. Instagram model Mariah Coogan Shares haunting video aboard an aircraft before crash

An Instagram model was among six people who died when a private plane crashed onto an Arizona golf course on Monday. Mariah Sunshine Coogan, called out to a friend, Anand "Happy" Patel, in a haunting video she recorded just before the crash. Patel smiles for the camera as the engine of the Piper PA-24 Comanche fires up. The 23 year old model who had recently appeared in a teeth-whitening advert. Others aboard the flight included 22-year-old Helena Lagos and 28-year-old James Perdoza, a VIP host at The Mirage nightclub in Las Vegas, who bought the six-seater plane earlier this year, did not have a pilot’s license. Reports said that the group were heading to Las Vegas. A call to air traffic control indicated the flight was a training lesson. Media personality Toke Makinwa, wrote a lengthy message on Instagram, talks about her current struggles with depression and keep on doubting herself with a recent surgery she had. She spoke on how after her surgery, she felt like she went through a rebirth and a burden had been lifted off her shoulder. She wrote: Long and honest post alert*** I like to think I’m strong, I like to think my mind is positive and I’m out here focused on me, building to have a better life than I’ve had and just trying to leave this world a better place.
