Buhari celebrates Easter with Christians and pray for the return of remaining Dapchi, Chibok girls

President, Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to pray for the safe return of Leah Sharibu, the only Dapchi School girl still in captivity. President Buhari in his Easter message to Nigerian Christians on Thursday, March 29, also asked the people to pray for the safe return of the remaining one hundred and twelve (112) Chibok girls still in captivity. “Thankfully, our Dapchi schoolgirls who were safely released recently after 30 agonizing days in the hands of their abductors have been reunited with their families”, the President said. He also added that, he is optimistic that all others, including the Chibok girls who are still in captivity, will be safely released unconditionally to their families. He urged Nigerians to continue to pray for their safe return. President Buhari commissions new Ikeja bus terminal

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has commissioned the newly built world-class Ikeja Bus Terminal in Lagos, commercial city. The world-class Ikeja Bus Terminal which was built by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration was commissioned by the President on Thursday, March 29. The iconic terminal is designed to change the face of public transportation and it will convey more than 70,000 passengers daily to over 22 destinations across the State. The facility, which occupies 10,000 square metres land space is equipped with Intelligent Transport System (ITS), Fully Air-conditioned Terminal, Food Court, Shops, Toilets, ATM Gallery, Free Wi-Fi, Electronically Controlled shades, and so on.

Police Declare Senator Dino Melaye, Mohammed Audu Wanted

The Kogi State Police Command has declared Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District wanted. The Kogi West lawmaker was declared wanted alongside the son of a former governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Mohammed Audu. The Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Ali Janga who declared both men wanted while addressing newsmen in Lokoja, the state capital on Wednesday, March 28, revealed that the span have been placed on Interpol watch list. Reports said that the Nigeria Police Force, had issued a warning to both men to appear in court on March 28 or be declared wanted by the Force. The frontline singer took to his Instagram page, few minutes after congratulatory messages pop up on the internet about the blogger’s engagement to express regrets. Son of Lagos Lawmaker shot dead in London

A 26-year-old Abraham Badru, son of House of Representatives member, Dolapo Badru, was shot dead close to his family's house in London. Abraham who has a fiancée in Nigeria and had worked as a coach, was found dead on the pavement by the police, after they received reports of gunshots. While the young man's mother has collapsed with tears on his side. According to Abraham's father, Dolapo, Abraham had received a police bravery award when he was a teenager, for saving a girl from rape. "A few years ago a girl was raped on the estate and Abraham fought them off. He went to court to testify against them and the police gave him an award". "He is quiet and hard-working" Dolapo added.
