Femi Fani-Kayode and wife The former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode with his wife Precious Chiwendu have welcomed a set of triplets babies. The former minister joyously stated this on his twitter handle that his wife whose birthday is today, Friday 25, May 2018 gave birth to three boys and the babies already got names. The triplets names are Ragnar, Aiden and Liam.

Some areas of Lagos State were hit of flood, due to the early morning downpour on Friday. Residents of the affected areas of the commercial city woke up to flooded streets especially in parts like Ketu, Bariga and Ojota after the early hour rainfall which lasted for several hours. According to the residents in the affected areas, they said the flood happened because of drainages blocked majorly with plastic wastes. Many motorists were forced to park their vehicles as others forced their way through the flood. Commuters who were trapped due to the flooding had to trek to their place of work. Former first lady Michelle Obama on Thursday revealed the cover of her memoir “ Becoming ,” will be released in November. She shared the photo of her memoir on her Instagram page with the caption: “I’m thrilled to share with all of you the cover for BECOMING. The process of writing this book has been so personally meaningful and illuminating for me. As I prepare to share BECOMING this fall, I hope you’ll also think about your own story, and trust that it will help you become whoever you aspire to be. Prof. Kingsley Moghalu  Presidential Aspirant under the platform of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Professor Kingsley Moghalu, is sure that he will become next Nigeria President. According to reports, Moghalu said: “On May 29, 2019, I will be sworn in as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Go and write it down, it is possible.” Moghalu, a former Deputy-Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, explained that he decided to join the presidential race because he believes in the ability of Nigerian youths and that they are the future of the country. Donald Trump, United States President, has called off his summit with Kim Jong-Un, North Korea’s leader. Trump stated this in a letter written to Kim on Thursday. He has cited ”open hostility” in North Korea’s recent statement as reason for his decision. The decision to stop tahe summit comes after North Korea destroyed its nuclear test site. The North had cancelled discussions with South Korea after joint military tests with the US continued in the Korean peninsula. The action had cast doubts on the possibility of the summit with Trump happening. Earlier today, a top North Korean official, Choe Son Hui, called Vice President Mike Pence’s remarks likening Pyongyang with Libya “ignorant” and “stupid.” Trump went ahead to threaten North Korea saying: ”You talk about your nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used”.

Mercy Johnson's mum, late Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson  Actress Mercy Johnson and her family have been mourning as her beloved mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, just died. The grieving actress announced the sad news on Twitter, said it was a really tough time for her and her family. She also asked for prayers and for their privacy to be respected.
