United Kingdom deported some Nigerians

  


 The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has reported that not 500 but 48 Nigerians were deported from United Kingdom yesterday.

   According to British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), 500 Nigerians were deported from UK on Tuesday evening in a charted plane which took off from the London Stansted Airport and landed on 25 Wednesday at 6am at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson of the NIS, Mr. Ekpeme King, said the 48 Nigerians were deported for over staying their visa validity period and other immigration related offences; and about 29000 Nigerians will be deported soon from UK.
