3 Nigerian Men Arrested in India for Rape
Three Nigerian men living in Delhi, India were recently arrested of gang raping a 19-year-old girl.
According to nelive report, the rape victim is from Manipur and a student of Punjab University, she had gone to Delhi for vacation, and was staying with her brother in the Vasant Kunj Kishangarh area. And her brother, who lives along with two other male friends, work many hours and he wasn’t too comfortable with leaving her alone while he was away at work. So, he made arrangements for her to stay with one of his female friends from Manipur.
The female friend had two roommates whose names are Sorokhaibam Shila Devi, 32, and Priya Thapa, 34, who took the victim to a party, and afterwards, told her they wanted to take her shopping.
However, at night, they are said to have lured her into a house where three Nigerian men lived.
The men raped her, then after a long physical harassment. The victim revealed that she managed to escape from the scene and contacted her brother who later reported the incident to the Uttam Nagar police station, and the men were subsequently arrested. One of the suspects has been identified as 33 year old Nwachorudo Charles Echejohn.
