Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot and his wife celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary December 26th.

The actor who is also a politician wrote on his twitter "yeepee its our 12th wedding anniversary... babamai my sweart heart, my wife and my love. God bless you my love.

About 1,131 pregnant women have been tested positive to the dreaded and incurable disease, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Lagos State. The  Health Commissioner, Dr. Jide Idris disclosed  this , at a ministerial news conference in Alausa, Lagos, that 38,791 pregnant women were tested for HIV, out of which 1,131 of them tested positive in the last one year. The commissioner said the test was carried out from the money received from Global Fund to tackle HIV issues in the state in a bid to attach the spread. President Buhari returns from UK

President Muhammadu Buhari on returned on Saturday night to Nigeria from UK after a week official trip. Buhari was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by top government officials, and his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. While in the UK, the President participated in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, he also met with the British Prime Minister, Theresa May and Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Rev. Justin Welby. He also met with thenational leader of All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Dutch Plc, Mr Ben van Beurden. Ghana Police arrested 12 Nigerians for holding woman hostage

Ghana Police arrested suspects after father of the victim lodged a complaint with the police that his daughter was missing for days. The suspects identified as Ose Winner , Olamide Ola Promise, Algbe Joseph, Edogiawerie Aisosa, Osazee Benjamin, Elis Imasuen, Emmanuel Daniel, John Miracle, Emulankpa Godwin, Osaro Kelvin, Oso Kenny and Oghneyerhowa Nelson ; all live in the same apartment close to Weija STC. The victim, name not published, said she was sexually molested by one of the suspect who through social media lured her to the location in form of dating her where her movement was restricted thereafter. The police investigators revealed that all the 12 suspects do not have the required documents to be in the country and were also suspected to be engaged in cyber fraud. They were arraigned before the court today, Tuesday August 6, 2019 while the Ghana Immigration Service has since been notified for the suspects to be deported. Source:NEWSNOW
