About 1,131 pregnant women have been tested positive to the dreaded and incurable disease, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Lagos State. The Health Commissioner, Dr. Jide Idris disclosed this , at a ministerial news conference in Alausa, Lagos, that 38,791 pregnant women were tested for HIV, out of which 1,131 of them tested positive in the last one year. The commissioner said the test was carried out from the money received from Global Fund to tackle HIV issues in the state in a bid to attach the spread. President Muhammadu Buhari on returned on Saturday night to Nigeria from UK after a week official trip. Buhari was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by top government officials, and his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. Ghana Police arrested suspects after father of the victim lodged a complaint with the police that his daughter was missing for days. The suspects identified as Ose Winner , Olamide Ola Promise, Algbe Joseph, Edogiawerie Aisosa, Osazee Benjamin, Elis Imasuen, Emmanuel Daniel, John Miracle, Emulankpa Godwin, Osaro Kelvin, Oso Kenny and Oghneyerhowa Nelson ; all live in the same apartment close to Weija STC. The victim, name not published, said she was sexually molested by one of the suspect who through social media lured her to the location in form of dating her where her movement was restricted thereafter. The police investigators revealed that all the 12 suspects do not have the required documents to be in the country and were also suspected to be engaged in cyber fraud.
