FG declares a public holiday


 The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared January 1st, 2016 as public holiday to mark the new year celebration.

Some Dapchi school girls return

Dapchi Students during head count Some of the abducted Dapchi school girls have been released, reports confirmed that this morning. Modu Dapchi, one of the parents of the girls abducted spoke to Sahara reporter that she is happy to see her child again while one of the school girls confirmed the death of some of the girls. According to the girls, it was revealed that they were kept inside a bush after 110 of them were kidnapped by Boko Haram. The number of the girls released are yet to be confirmed.
