Petrol Tanker On Fire At Lekki


A tanker filled with fuel is presently on fire at first toll gate near Lekki Phase one this afternoon.

Fire service personnel are on their way to the place.

Former Nollywood actress now a nurse, Regina Askia Williams, has written an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari. She appreciated the president for his effort at fighting corruption in Nigeria and asking him some questions in her letter which reads:  “Thank you for all your effort at containing the corruption in Nigeria however unpopular. FTC records the first dead patient of lassa fever

The Federal Capital Territory has recorded it's first death of the deadly viral disease, Lassa Fever. Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Oyewole mentioned this during a visit to the National Hospital, Abuja where the patient died. The medical director of the hospital, Jack Momoh, confirmed the death, said the patient, a 33 year old newly married man, was brought in unconscious from a private hospital in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja, where he had been admitted for eight days. He later died within 24hours of being at the national hospital.‎ Meanwhile the search for all the contact of the deceased is ongoing.
