2016 Budget Document is missing from National Assembly



It has been reported that the 2016 budget proposal is missing from the National Assembly premises.

The disappearance of the document was discussed during a closed door session of the Senate that lasted 90 minutes.

Moreover, it was announced by Senate Leader Ali Ndume as Senators gathered to begin the consideration of the budget today, January 12, 2016.

Earlier, the N6.8 trillion that was presented by the president to the National Assembly on December 22, 2015 was said to have been withdrawn and be replaced with another one by the presidency but reports were denied.
