Fashola unveils 13-point agenda to improve power supply

Minister of Power, Road and Works, Babatunde Fashola, has unveiled his 13-point agenda for the power sector in Nigeria.

This was unveiled during the maiden meeting he had with power generation, distribution and transmission companies, also other stakeholders in Abuja today January 11th, 2016.

Fashola said in his address that the agenda involves continuous public engagement on tariff collection, debts, power generation, maintenance, ancillary services, dispatch orders and discipline, gas requirement and problems, transmission constraints, 33KV load off take, imbalances-locations of excess, overload safety, service quality, new captive and embedded generation, franchising and other issues relevant to the increase of the sector.

He promised to improve the distribution of pow‎er.
