Mercy Aigbe celebrates 37th birthday


The popular Nollywood Actress, Mercy Aigbe who entered into the movie industry in 2006 celebrates her 37th birthday today 1st January 2016.

 She has starred in several big Yoruba movies, and is one of the biggest Yoruba movie stars in Nigeria.

The actress who hails from Edo state, and started acting in school got a degree in Theatre Arts in 2001 from the University of Lagos. In 2006, she finally entered the movie industry professionally.

She is married to Lanre Gentry in 2013, and has three kids and three stepdaughters.

Last year Mercy Aigbe won the City People Entertainment Yoruba Movie Personality of the year award.

The series, called “Diary of a Single Girl“, will focus on her life as a single girl and the what she goes through. Episode 1 is titled “I Hate going on Dates” and she talks about how she really feels about going on dates. Can you relate?
