Nigerian makes history in the US as the first appointed African Judge


A Nigerian, the first African that was appointed as a judge in history, Jude O Nkama was apointed a judge in New Jersey, United States of America on January 6th, 2016.

Also, Honourable Ras Baraka was appointed as the Mayor of the City of Newark, NJ. Hon. Ugochukwu Nwaokoro as Deputy Mayor; and Evans Anyanwu, Esq. as Chief Prosecutor of the city.

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1, has died. The exteem Yoruba monarch died yesterday evening after a brief illness. Reports said he suddenly lost consciousness. He was 101 years old. May his soul rest in peace...amen. Oba Odulana ascended the throne in 2007 as the 39th Olubadan of Ibadan land. He was the 17th Olubadan since the title was elevated from Baale Ibadan to the Olubadan in 1930.
