Nigerian makes history in the US as the first appointed African Judge


A Nigerian, the first African that was appointed as a judge in history, Jude O Nkama was apointed a judge in New Jersey, United States of America on January 6th, 2016.

Also, Honourable Ras Baraka was appointed as the Mayor of the City of Newark, NJ. Hon. Ugochukwu Nwaokoro as Deputy Mayor; and Evans Anyanwu, Esq. as Chief Prosecutor of the city.

Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has backed the team to win Egypt in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches this March. He quits from his position last month, citing unpaid salaries, lack of cooperation, and other factors was why he decided to resign. Samson Siasia has been appointed as interim coach and will be assisted by Emmanuel Amuneke and Salisu Yusuf. Oliseh however says the new coach and the assistance, can overcome the Pharoahs, if they apply the philosophy he has imparted on the team. He wrote on his personal blog: “As a Nigerian I can assure you should not fear the Egyptians. Egypt is a good team but definitely better than the previous Egypt years ago and our new assembled team is definitely better. “If we play with the philosophy and players I have put on the ground, we will definitely beat Egypt home and away with a larger margin in Egypt! Remember we don’t concede easily anymore.” He added in his blog.

Video: Artist Naz B reacts to the victory of Isreali' Netta at the 2018 Eurovision

Nigerian Swiss Based Artist Naz B has reacted to the recent victory of Isreali' Netta at the 2018 Eurovision song contest with the song "Toy" which was allegedly written and com‎posed by Doron Medalie and Stav Beger.  The West African rapper claimed that the Chicken Dab Style which influenced Netta's win was his trademark chicken dance moves that attracted overwhelming votes for her with her pink-haired backing singers and dancers. Thousands of people from all over the world enjoyed the spectacular live shows at Lisbon's Altice Arena last week, with over 200 million viewers tuning in on television as it was the very first time Portugal hosted the contest.‎ Sadly, the brainchild of the dance concept which had gone viral was attributed to Netta after her thrilling victory.
