Super Eagles Defender Suffers Injury

Super Eagles and AS Monaco defender, Elderson Echiejile has suffered a serious injury that will sideline him for several weeks.
Echiejile tries to pass the ball to Berbatov.

The AS Monaco player disclosed to Africanfootball.com that he sustained the injury while training with his French Ligue 1 side.

According to him, he said on his official website, www.elderson3.com “I picked up a hamstring injury in training on Tuesday and will be out for weeks.”

The left-footer has made 12 appearances for Monaco in Ligue 1 this season.

Babangida summons for two-party system in Democracy message

Former Military President of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, has said that setting up a two-party political system in Nigeria is crucial to building the nation’s democracy. Babangida, who made this comment in a message to Nigerians ahead of the May 29 Democracy Day celebration, stressed that he is worried about the country’s political structure and the absence of a clear-cut ideology by political parties. The former Military President alleged that democracy in Nigeria has been polarized in the last 18 years and therefore, he wants the nation to consider adopting a two-party structure as a way to solving many of its challenges. Super Eagles Rohr's frontmen hitting form right in time for 2018 FIFA World Cup
