Yoruba actor dies


Yoruba actor, Sikiru Adeshina,  popularly known as Arakangudu, died in his sleep early today February 9.

Reports say he suffered a heart attack while sleeping at his home in Kaduna. Arakangudu's body will be taken for burial to his home town in Osun state.

May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Ekiti Rebirth Organization (ERO), the campaign arm of frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, has condemned the disruption of today’s All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary by the alleged thugs to one of the aspirants, saying it represents the highest level of desperation in anybody’s quest for political office. Police arrest Afenifere leader’s daughter’s killers

The police have arrested some suspects allegedly involved in the killing of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti. The spokesman of the Ondo State Police Command, Femi Joseph, who confirmed yesterday that some armed gangs killed Mrs Funke on Kajola-Ore road, Ondo State said the suspects were arrested when a team of security operatives stormed the forests near the area.
