NIJ allegedly fails student for reporting Korede Bello's frequent absence from class

Reports said that the Nigeria Institute of Journalism has failed Damilare Famuyiwa for reporting the “Godwin” singer, Korede Bello’s absence from school.

According to BlackBox Nigeria, Damilare has been marked down by the school and handed two carry overs and low marks in other courses due to, he reported that the Mavin’s crew singer did not meet up to the 70% attendance requirement rule laid down by the school authority for examinations.

BlackBox Nigeria also gathered that Damilare Famuyiwa who is also a blogger had been threatened by some people from the school management that he will not graduate from the monotechnic.

It was also reported that Nigerian Young Journalists Forum, and Journalists For Christ, bodies which Damilare belongs to, have vowed to get to the root of the matter.

Students from the school attested that Damilare is one of the genius in the class and should call for his scripts and challenge the results.

Meanwhile, Korede Bello's result is one of the best.
