Police injured, four persons die at Mile 12 riot

Heavy riot and vandalisation of properties at Agiti Mile 12, Lagos this afternoon killed atleast four people.

According to an eye witness, at least four people died during the riot. Hoodlums has vandalised vehicles and injured policemen, using the opportunity to rob people with cars and making victims stranded.

People were burnt alive, a school in the area has also been burnt.

Meanwhile, the Lagos state government has shut down the markets in the area until further notice.
