202 students expelled from Laspotech

The Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, has expelled 202 students for cultism and examination malpractice within three years.

The school rector, Samuel Sogunro, in a report said between 2015-2018, 183 students has been expelled for cultism while 19 has been dismissed for exam malpractices. 88 of the 183 students were in the School of full-time studies while 95 in part-time studies respectively.

He said, nine of the 19 students dismissed for exam malpractice were full-time and 10 were part-time students.

Sogunro restated that the school does not tolerate all forms of exam malpractices and cultism.

He promised to publish the names of the culprits in a national newspaper soon.
