CAN General Secretary dies

The General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Dr Musa Asake, 66, has passed away.

Asake reportedly died earlier today after an illness, in Abuja, his brother and former member of the House of Representatives, Jonathan Asake told PUNCH Newspaper.

Asake’s death is coming two weeks after he led a nationwide protest called by CAN against the killing of Christians by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

The deceased, an indigene of Southern Kaduna, has been vocal in the defence of Christianity in Nigeria
