North Korea still willing to meet US after President Trump cancelled summit
President Kim Jong Un |
North Korea Minister of foreign affairs, Kim Kye Gwan, on behalf of President Kim Jong Un said Trump's decision to cancel the discussion directed counter to the global community's wishes for peace in Korea.
He commented that Korea would like to meet US to discuss on matters that will bring solutions to problems in the world at any time.
“We would like to make known to the US side once again that we have the intent to sit with the US side to solve problem(s) regardless of ways at any time,” Gwan said.
Kim said President Trump's decision is "not consistent with the desire of humankind for peace and stability in the world, to say nothing of those in the Korean Peninsula."
