Super Eagles team B friendly match with Atletico Madrid

Super Eagles team B
Nigeria based players and some Europe-based players, most of who had played for some of the junior teams with an average age of 22 years were put together to play UEFA Europa League champions, Atletico Madrid.

The game was played at the Godwill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo  on Tuesday with the team performing  well.

Most of the team players were meeting for the very first time and had only trained about three times together.

They, however, showed that Nigeria has a huge depth of talent with two goals to show for their effort in the friendly match of 3-2 loss to Atletico Madrid.

The Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, Professor Ishaq Akintola reacted to the death of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the leader of Yoruba Socio-cultural organization, Afenifere. The Muslim Activist sent a condolence message to the deceased’s father, and warned Nigerians against jumping into any conclusion about the killers.
