A 36-year old banker, Nicholas Anthony working with Eco bank, Ile- Epo branch, Ejigbo, Lagos has been arrested and charged before a Magistrate’s court at the area, for allegedly conspiring to steal N23 million lodged in a dead customer's account of the bank. According to Daily times, Nicholas has conspired with one Junior Walter and Akeem now at large to falsify documents and attempted to steal the sum of N23 million belonging to a dead customer. Unfortunate for them, the bank management discovered their plan before they could withdraw the money. It was gathered that Anthony after getting information that the customer was dead, contacted other suspects and processed documents to claim the money as beneficiary. Anthony handed the documents to Walter to come to the bank and present it to the management for payment. Fortunately, no casualties were reported from the hailstorm which punched holes in car windows. In the same Province, in March 2014, there was a week of bad weather, including the appearance of huge hailstones, which at least 16 people lost their lives.

Korede Bello                       Damilare Famuyiwa  Reports said that the Nigeria Institute of Journalism has failed Damilare Famuyiwa for reporting the “Godwin” singer, Korede Bello’s absence from school. According to BlackBox Nigeria, Damilare has been marked down by the school and handed two carry overs and low marks in other courses due to, he reported that the Mavin’s crew singer did not meet up to the 70% attendance requirement rule laid down by the school authority for examinations. BlackBox Nigeria also gathered that Damilare Famuyiwa who is also a blogger had been threatened by some people from the school management that he will not graduate from the monotechnic. Most of it users including me was sent a thank you message for using Twitter as it celebrates it tenth birthday. 

Nigerian singer/comedian, Olumuyiwa Osinuga popularly known as Nomoreloss has died. Reports said his sister-in-law, Dammy Osinuga, confirmed his death this morning from an unrevealed illness at a hospital in Opebi, Lagos. Nomoreloss who has been sick since January this year died at his 30s. And he's survived by a daughter. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
