NFF Head of Protocol shot dead this morning


The Head of Protocol, Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Ibrahim Abubakar, was shot dead by armed robbers at his residence in Abuja early hours today January 6th, 2016.

His body has been transported to Kaduna for burial according to Islamic rites.May his soul rest in peace amen

The Federal Capital Territory has recorded it's first death of the deadly viral disease, Lassa Fever. Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Oyewole mentioned this during a visit to the National Hospital, Abuja where the patient died. The medical director of the hospital, Jack Momoh, confirmed the death, said the patient, a 33 year old newly married man, was brought in unconscious from a private hospital in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja, where he had been admitted for eight days.
